Aldo's 1084 and acid etching action!

I'm usually a stainless guy, but did want to give some of this stuff a shot.

I'm a huge fan of acid etching too, who doesn't wanna go picasso on some steel?

This steel though... it etches different for me. Way unique.

It is real hard to capture this in pictures as the pattern is almost like a hologram. What you see depends on the angle of view and light. At one angle the blade looks smooth, turn it a bit and the pattern jumps out.
