So Aldo got in some 1095 that he is very proud of... He offered 3/16" x 1.5" x 12" bars up for $7.00 plus flat rate shipping

It is too late to get a bar sent your way but I need some quick help on a new design for the project. I have a few drawn up and will post a scan here tomorrow looking for input from the masses! I could really use some W2
 
I have a feeling Lorien will be along shortly. Seriously look forward to seeing some awesome hamons.
 
Jonas, Before I forget you gotta get that photo link in your Sig. Fixed so I can see your photos!!

This won't be a Lorien design I have taken advantage of him lately!! But he always has great suggestions on possible changes when I ask for them... That boy is a valuable resource!

Think I fixed it. Always had fun messing around with stuff, had enough family and friends ask for work that I decided I would start offering it up to the public. Don't have a lot of time on my hands but I do plan on getting a grinder and having some fun with it.
 
A more important question: When is the w-2 going to be in stock? :)

12" x 1.5", I say make a 7"+ blade double edge spear point fighter!

I love helping where I can, and you know you can ask for my 2 cents any time! (for what they're worth)
 
Sorry for the lack of Designs on here, had life get in the way as it does sometimes... Update with designs when I get a chance! Thanks for the suggestions.

Fast14 - Haven't done a Tanto I will play with it a little bit!
 
Alright I gotta get moving on this project to meet the deadline... I am going to go with design #2.

I tried to draw up some Double Edge Fighters and an aikuchi tanto (way out of my Typical style) and they just did not do it for me.
Will try to keep this thread updated with my progress.
 
#2 is a great choice imo, the one I woulda chosen at any rate :)

I agree Jonas it has the look of a Kitchen knife.

Have it Profiled, Rough Ground, Tapered Tang and Clayed up...
