i am about a 150 miles away. i like chattonoga it is a cool place. i did some rock climbing at a place called tennessse wall and foster falls.
 
Alex,Chattanooga is a cool city.:DWatched a few people climb both locations over the years here.I like to go up to Lookout Mt & watch them hanglide.A veteren rockclimber this last weekend on Prentice Cooper fell to his death.

I don't think you have enough drill presses. I assume that's so you don't have stop production to chuck a new bit in? Really cool, love the mill chugging away while you play :D
 
I was going to say that you seem to have a bit of an obsession with small benchtop drill presses.:D I am not familiar with the workings of CNC milling machines. Where does the coolant go and how do you keep the chips from getting down into the machine? Also why does the machine seem to be making the cuts with a vertical drilling type motion as opposed to a horizontal cutting motion?
 
i am machineing a holddown fixture for liners ,it is in the drilling mode g83 peck drill much straighter holes and less stress on the drill, bit the chips usally float down to the strainer or just pile on top of the table.
