Alignment Systems: Lansky V DMT

Hi all, I understand the limitations of these systems, I just would like to know your thoughts on these two in comparison to each other, Thanks

I don't have the DMT. The Lansky works. I've also got a Gatco that is just like the Lansky but the stones are wider. It is a bit faster. I'd guess it will last longer as well but who knows?

So all things equal wider is better, but not twice as good, just a bit better.

I use a DMT Aligner system with a Lansky clamp.Works well on traditional folders.The slimmer profile of the Lansky clamp is imho better than the DMT plastic clamp.
