All Battle Mistresses are INFI?

Will,
In one of the old threads, that I can't find right now, Jerry was asked about how to tell the difference between A2 and INFI. Here is what he replied
"We can tell by applying certain chemicals to the exposed steel. Often, the A-2 models were gun blued between the handles, but not always. Hole location and other measurements can also help us determine the grade of steel used. If you're not sure what you have, you can return the blade to our shop and we will test it for you.
P.S. All Battle Mistresses are made from INFI, there are no A-2 versions.
Jerry Busse"

It might seem strange that I have the quote and not the thread, but then again I am somewhat strange. :D:D

I hope this helps.

And of course Brian was right anyway. ;)

SHHHHHHHH...

Eric, don't tell my wife...if she found out I was right about something...well, I just don't know...

:)

Darn this thread !!! I'm starting to get the INFI shakes again. Only one thing can take care of this....more battle mistresses. Time to put on my Indiana Jones hat and start the hunt :)

Eric--

Thanks very much for that quote. Fairly authoritative source, I'd say. :)

Best--Will

Brian,
I really didn't have any reason to post to this thread since you had it taken care of ;), but I thought I should do something around here to keep my Mod. Status :D:D.

DN,
Only one cure for those DARN shakes. Good luck ;)

Will,
No problem, glad I could help.

Chip,
That is actually why I have that Quote saved, however, the FAQ's were getting so long I didn't think anybody would read them if I added anymore :D. Besides, this way I have something to do around here.
:p

I think Jerry made a few Battle Mistresses out of piss and vinegar to make them extra hateful but none are out of A2.:p  :p
