All Black Paramilitary Hardware?

So a recent trip to the mountains left my Delica nowhere to be found. I've already decided it's replacement will be a black bladed Paramilitary 2 but I have seen something weird.

All of the pics and videos I have seen have only the blade as black, while the liners and screws are satin. However, the on line retailer I want to purchase from has everything as black (blade, screws, pivot, liners, and clip). Even the Spyderco website has them all black.

I'm not worried about it being fake or anything, just curious if anybody else has seen this before. I would prefer it be all black but I don't care if it isn't.

Thanks- Kris

Are you sure you're not looking at the satin one online. Some dealers show it from a weird angle which kind if makes it look like a black blade when it isn't. The all black one is well all black

AFAIK, the early black bladed ones had bright screws, but they were changed to all black hardware a few years ago. That said, be sure you're buying from a trustworthy source, as there are fake PM2's out there.

Well, it's a registered dealer here on BF, so I hope its legit :D.

Anyway, I did some more searching and the black bladed versions seem to usually have black pivots and screws, but the liners are satin. In the pictures on the website, however, the compression lock liner is black. It might just be a stock Spyderco photo actually, because the black Paramilitaries on their website alsonhave black liners

I got my blacked-out PM2 a couple of months ago and it has black screws satin liners.

I guess the newer batches have all black hardware. Still have no idea about those black liners in the pictures though.

I think the "photo" on the site is actually a "rendering" from prior to actual production... IIRC, the bright screws were quickly changed to black, but I don't believe there were ever all black liners in any of the runs...
