All Buck Knives Date the Same???

You usually see the dating questions about Buck 110s on here. But do all Buck knives have similar stampings?

I just bought a nice Buck 112 "Two Dot." Am I right in assuming that this knife is pre-1980 and has 440C steel?

What about other models? Same stampings?

The dot logic applies the same to both the 110 and the 112 so your assumptions are correct. As far as the rest of the line goes, it is pretty much on a series by series basis. Once we get to 1986, 99% of the knives have the same date code.
