Spent part of last evening re-doing the edge on my MS. Wanted to widen the edge some and put a mirrior finish on her. She's scary sharp but the polishing still needs a little work. I finished her up with 4,000 grit polishing tape but am thinking I'll go over her with some .3 micron polishing tape that I picked up from toolsforworkingwood.com Depending on the website you get the micron to grit conversion from this comes to about 50,000 grit. Toolsforworkingwood.com states it to be equal to a 12,000 grit waterstone. Still getting the hang of this but it seems to be turning out pretty good. The work I did was done with my Edge Pro. Ben Dale did a amazing job designing this little tool. Makes putting a razor edge on a knife simple.
