My son in law, Mark, found these Hogue grips in a bargain bin for $20, so he bought them for me. They really dress the gun up!

Very nice score! Hogue makes some nice wood grips. I have a few sets and really like them. Hogue also has an auction site that has cosmetic second grips on there for good prices. I have bought a couple sets of those in the past and couldn't find anything wrong with them.

Oh yeah! That is a beauty. Love those short 629's. Unfluted cylinder, bobbed hammer and a post front sight, excellent. Must be one of the Talo Smith's?

That looks really good. One day I will have one.

beautiful John. love that revolver. i have just added it to my list.

I did the hammer bob on it myself, and smoothed out the action. I only shoot it double action, but left a bit of the spur on just in case I need to take a long range precision shot.

It sure looks nice. I've had a 3" 629 Backpacker for 18 years, just a superb all around gun.

Beauty!

I have 5 boxes of .44 and no .44 to use them in.

We will have to talk.

Ryan and I did a trade so I could get a holster for this one. It arrived yesterday, and I`m very pleased with it!

John, that is a great looking photo. I may have to steal that for my "Customer's Photos" page.

I'm glad you like the holster and I really like my Mini Appalachia.
