Nice knife! Btw, Rat doesn't sell extra scale sets, each set is tuned to the knife they are on I believe and so they don't just sell extras by themselves. Last I knew anyway.

If you have some time and some skills with a sander you could make yourself some scales. "www dot masecraftsupply dot com" is a cool knife making supplies site. You can find a lot of nice G10 & Micarta there to choose from. One color I really like that stands out is a Black & Orange Tiger Stripe in a 1/4 x 5 x 12 inch size for 20 bucks. Easily enough in one of that size to make three or four sets if you weren't wasteful.

I like the orange handle version so it would be easy to stop in the woods or swamp if I had to set it down for anything. I don't care if my knife is camo or earth tone because I'm not using it in a tactical situation. Hunting and fishing is about it. I live on a bayou on the edge of a large Mississippi salt marsh. That handle would stick out like a sore thumb out there anywhere I go. Besides, it just looks cool as hell to me.

Thanks Les! I suck at a sander, but this might be worth a try. I love the orange though so I don't really care to have extra handle slabs if I can't get them, but it would be cool.
