I LOVE Satin Jacks, not much else to say, figured I'd share a few pics.

The three on the left are off to new homes, but I have another coming that will make them "green" with envy:D

I was very surprised at the difference between the two "straight handles"

I took these to show the balance difference between the BOSS and original
skinny, full flat

Thick, full flat

Combat grade, G10, saber

DC, micarta, saber

I think this is the first time I've seen a comparison between the BJ and the SJ.

Great pics, thanks for sharing!

They are very different feeling knives, at least the saber ground vs the SHSJ, the full convex BOSS is a little closer

Wow. That balance is interesting. Probably why I never could imagine how a-poster-whom-shall-stay-unnamed could chop with his original SJSJ. The balance was too neutral.

I like the new ones. A lot!

The skinny shsj I could see being a trick to chop with, the thick shsj has enough weight where it seems like it could chop decently

I really like my "old school" satin jack, it's a very, very nice blade for light carrying in the woods, but still substantial enough to pretty much do anything. It's one of my all time favorites, along with the SH-e, BA3, and AD...

Great pics, I'm looking forward to seeing what could make those three "green" with envy:D

thanks for the pictures, Jroden5446. the SJack is still the best looking to me -but, man, i'm hoping the BJack ends up as a store option! what a beauty

You rang?? :D

Great Jacks!!! . .

Only thing that deters me from the BJ is the rounded spine.. the transition to the flat handle is awkward looking..

Nothing like the originals though..

Neutral?? The fatty Asym. SHSJ is a great chopper for the size...

Even the skinny can hold its own....

ie...
