PS: The khukuri in the picture is one of our 2 remaining sambar deer horn mini-jungles (I know somebody was going to ask

First, even the khukuris on order (to include the WWIIIs) will have a zippered case with them (including your high-neck)

Second, GREATLY apologize on my knees in front of everybody here for the huge delay on the WWIII and associated pieces. However, Scott at Edgeworks is shooting to have them done in 2 weeks. So for what that's worth, I'm on the phone with him 3 times a week to try to move the project along. He's working hard (nights and weekends) and will hopefully pull through sooner rather than later. I'm keepin' the faith.

Thanks for asking! It gives me an opportunity to practice humility, as this delay is totally inexcusable.

And I lied on the website - we're getting two sizes, so they will, contrary to the mistake on the site, fit 20 inch sirupatis and 20 inch AKs, etc.

Yo!!!

New cases on the WWIIIs too! That's just what I wanted to hear! There are some advantages to being last in line after all

In fairness, zippered cases on the WWIII is a sad consolation for the delay. Fortunately, these babies kick butt, so they are worth the wait, however inexcusable it is

. (I take every opportunity to flagellate myself when the WWIII comes up because I deserve it).

Actually, Craig, it seems to me that you've done everything humanly possible to get the WWIIIs to us, and have been beset by delays over which you had no control. If you wind up making any money on the deal, which I doubt, I would hate to see what it breaks down to in an hourly wage - probably not decent even by Nepalese standards

. Thanks for the unexpected bonus of the padded case.

Berk: Glad to see ya! Thanks for understanding about the WWIIIs - although it's great that you are so understanding, I suffer from a zero-defects mentality (compliments of the USMC). Results, results, results. As for money, if you count time and effort, we're losing big time. If you don't, we're almost breaking even. If you count the moral satisfaction at having helped create something new and unique, I'm laughing all the way to the bank!

The new cases you're now sending out with the khukuris are a very nice touch. Unannounced and much to my surprise, the Zebra SN1 came in one. GH sure takes care of its people, and all the class is no act! The case is of good quality. I wish I could find some to fit my scoped Contender pistol barrels. Thanks for your thoughtfulness, Craig.

LT: How long are the barrels? I have some 22 inch cases (order direct via the website and specify that you want the longer case - they are the same price).

Hi Craig, I just received my knife! It is beautiful, awe-inspiring! The padded sleeve was an added bonus, I realise, but the damned things been damaged. It appears as if the unsheathed blade has been knocked about in the post - understandably the blade has pierced the zipper and rendered it (the sleeve) useless. Khukuri is fine, tremendous. David (this was order number 1535)

Craig: Scoped Contender pistol barrels are odd sizes. Cases to fit mine would need to have a little more than 5" x 18" of INSIDE space, so a full 6" x 20" size could do the job. A wider version of your case is the ticket. Thanks much for asking, but I'm not in any real hurry and prime hog season is a long way off. Lately it seems that buying khukuris has been more important than casing all the barrels, working up 1/2 MOA loads, and such...a season for all things under heaven. (Yes, it is very possible to cover 5-shot, 100yd groups w/a dime from single-shot pistols!)

David: Trajedy about the case! I'm very sorry about that - we'll have to figure something out to keep that from happening on international orders.

LT Dan: No problem - understand your size requirements. Sorry I couldn't help out.
