Check out these hard use, .250 5160 steel chisel ground cutters and prybar inspired knives.

I ground them, heat treated them, and double tempered them yesterday, they still need to be finished. More grinding and epoxy soaked cord wraps to follow.

Here's one finished up.

It is hard to tell but the handle is West System epoxy soaked and is very durable and water resistant.

The finish is Plum Brown "Blueing" with a bleach etch and more plum brown.

I ground this like a traditional Kiridashi with the main bevel on one side but with a small variation, there is a small bevel on the back.

I like your style! I primarily do chisel grinds, and i know how tough they can be. (more ways than one). Those look really good. That red kiridashi is super sweet.

Thanks, the simple looking ones are the toughest it seems. Thanks for the compliments! :)

I just finished up another one, this one has a matching Coyote Brown Kydex sheath.
