Here's a family picture of all the Böker blades I have in my possession. And they breed like rabbits:D, but my funds not:(

Now the KeyCom in particular

Great collection! Black is beautiful I might say.. I hope if the money is there someday, there is going to be a black M-Type ready to join your collection. I'm still waiting for my Keycom to arrive :(
Thanks for sharing those pics and may you be blessed with a lot of money for further future investments!

Thanks for your kind words, bro. I am indeed planning to get a M-type, and off course another (3rd) SubCom. Hope you get your KeyCom soon, I had to wait a while too. BTW 2008 Magnum is coming!!!

PS the Rampage looks even freakier on the pic!?

He MOI,

Nice family you've got there?

Hope your Direkt is working out right for you.

Fred said the new CLB's are on hold till end this month. So will have to wait some more.

Do you now if Hes in Arnhem has some in stock??

Will you attend the DKE in Tiel in november?
I've noted it in agenda. Spyderco & Boker will be there.

Better start saving up :o

cheers

Lol Maarten.

The Direkt works just fine, this time. Flips open with a nice "clak" sound. Much lighter than it looks. If you mean Fred from want2have, he told me his supplier is always 2 months behind. Hes has a Direkt in stock, but it's the defected one I got, no more KeyCom because I came, I saw, I bought.:D:D:D I paid more than neccesary for the latest CLBs, but I got them much earlier than you:cool::eek::jerkit:

DKE is indeed sweet as hell, don't have a rush on Spydies (in general) though, and I don't even regret not going to the Spydie Mini Meeting while had nothing to do. (Don't think I have to guts to say this in your face)

About saving... that's gonna be hard, my pre-ordered (duh?!) Hill Knives Commando Dagger and planning to order a big batch from the US in Sep/Oct.

PS if you like the Crusader, we might be able to work out a trade ;)

It sure does! Though I don't like the blade shape, the handle is one of the most comfortable ones I ever came across. I ordered the uncoated version of the Keycom, but I guess I also need the coated one. Geez, where am I supposed to get all this money from...?:D

lol, I only realized how much beer didn't make it to my stomache when I really looked at all the Böker I have.:cool:

I don't think any of those were Sollingen made. Save your money and buy fewer higher quality knives. In the long run it pays off. You won't need to rent storage space to store your knife collection ;-)

Thanks for your concern and advise bro, however, I beg to differ. No, none of them is Solingen made. They're either branded Böker Plus or Magnum. Regarding price/quality-ratio, the CLB line is excellent, as the other 3 fixed blades (got the Crusader because it was on sale:p). Moreover, I don't buy every sub €100 Böker Plus/Magnum knife I come across, and I didn't think twice to pass the Valkyre and the M8 bayonet.

Anyway, I'm trying to save up for a Tirpitz Damast, but who knows?:cool:Amor fati

Here's a quick pic I took a few hours ago.

To be frank, I find the 2008 a bit vulgar due to the high polish on the blade. But boy, ain't she a slasher with such a sexy curve!!!:p

Hippies be warned, your campfires day are over!:D

PS the Valkyrie is quite tempting... Sorry Chad, no more € for your blades;)

Lycosa, I've seen the Specialist I tanto in the store, knit little blade comes with great sheath system. Very tempting, but I'm trying to save up for the Hill Knives Commando Dagger which I've already pre-orderedhttp://www.hillknives.com/HillWebsite/Menu/New-commando-dagger.htm

Besides that I'm planning to make my first Hippie Killer, the Penae (Poros is too difficult to make) is in the same niche as the Nealy. Wish me luck.

Anyway I can go to the store and take a closer look and report to you if you are interested:D:D:D

Thanks, Iron Of Man! Crazy blades, those!!
I was just curious about the Boker/Nealy. My brother is sending me one. ;)

Out of curiosity - why the various primary bevels, and what does varying the bevels give you in terms of improvement of performance?
I do like that hook on the back. Am I right to believe it is to aid in hooking maneuvers during RGEO?
