All my bases covered?

Just received a new to me small CF Insingo sebenza last week, which has completed my temporary wish list of CRK's. As of now, I feel I have most of my bases covered in terms of what the Sebenza has to offer, graphics, inlays, blade shapes, cf scale. Question is, is there something missing from this line up that I should try out? I like the insingo blade shape, but have not gotten acquainted to it fully yet.

Noted exceptions:
Tanto blade, tried one and decided it was not really for me. I don't have much use for a tanto point, and I find the looks are not as good as the standard blade shape.
Large Insingo blade, haven't tried it yet, but I do like the small insingo
Micarta inlay, well my first tanto was a small micarta tanto, so it left due to the blade shape. I did like the micarta inlay, but not near as much as the snakewood.
Plain jane, I am not as much drawn to the plain 21's as I feel the cost of the brand is justified more if there is some decoration, hence my entire line up is of decorated 21's. Not much interest in plain jane because decorated 21's actually aren't that much more expensive on the exchange here.

Am I missing anything? (besides the obvious MOAR CRK!!)

Not that I need any more CRK as this line up is in addition to a host of BM's, Spydercos, and ZT's, which could cover any conceivable need for knives I could ever have in 5 lifetimes. But what would fit right into the above photo if the opportunity arose?

Looks like you have it covered pretty much. The only other CRK you may want to add would be a Damascus CRK in the pattern of your liking.

Nice collection. I also have a small Insingo and have decided I prefer that blade shape. A large will be my next and probably yours too I'd guess. Then there's the Wilson Combats you seem to be lacking. I regret having sold a large 21 as the added grip made it easy to pull from a pocket. Finally, a plane might be to your liking. I appreciate the character the worn scales take on.

I think the 25 or an Inkosi would fit well. The 25 has a different feel from either the Umnumzaan or the 21, and completes the large CRK options. I have the Wilson Combat, but the micarta inlayed version would suit the feel of the knife well.

Sorry, no love for the Tanto at this time. Never gained favor over the standard blade shape when I tried it.

The Inkosi was interesting when it came out, but I almost feel that the small 21 is "small enough" and I don't feel the need to go smaller. That was a good suggestion.

Seb 25 is good, and I really like the Wilson Combat pattern. Not sure if I can justify in addition to the Zaan, but maybe. The Wilson Combat version may give it an edge, as the plain would probably not best my Zaan.

Damasus. Only way I would get a damasus is if it was a Snakewood Inlay Damascus for FULL BLING MODE. But that is out of my price range at the moment. Maybe one day as a grail sebenza. Probably Ladder pattern for symmetry.

Amazing how many good suggestions for a seemingly solid lineup. Always room for more as knifenuts say. Thanks guys and keep em coming.

Think you need a Mnandi and a Ti-lock but keeping to Sebenzas is not a bad idea.... But having something from each CRK model is a good small collection. You have a great start and could be happy which what you have going

Yes, looks like a great beginning. Great looking Snakewood. There are many different brands to collect, and many within those parameters. I have mainly Busse's , (and Beckers; Murray Carter; Grayman; Winkler; Kershaw), but have recently discovered the Reeve folders. Own two 21's (Jane's); one 25, and the Umnum. You may want to try the 25, or look to the past for vintage Seb's. And you know - there's a whole lot worse ways to spend your money.

I would go for a Mnandi or a Damascus blade (or both at once:)) to round out the collection!

Very nice collection!
I agree, a 25 would be a great addition to round it out
the Wilson Combat 25's are awesome, I love mine

I strict terms of a "collection", the only thing missing would be a Damascus in my opinion.

In terms of discovering which blade you find most useful, I would suggest a small 21 Tanto. That blade has really won me over for EDC chores. Maybe not as useful as the Insingo, but no slouch, and breaks up the monotony too. Would give you a chance to buy a plain Jane, or a Micarta for the collection too.

You have a nice CGG, now you need a UG.
UG's are very nice, but all of the ones I really like seem to be overly popular and expensive. There have been a couple breathtaking Damascus UG's recently.

Snakewood Mnandi for the trifecta

Snakewood Mnandi is really tempting, but I almost want to see one in person before jumping on one. Size and shape give me pause when I can't hold it in hand first.

I did own a small micarta Tanto for a short time. Like the micarta, but the tanto never took off with me for some reason. Sold it to fund the large snakewood above.

Top contenders so far. And I thought I was content with what I had... Serves me right for starting this thread lol.
Lg Micarta Insingo
Snakewood Mnandi
Wilson Combat something.

I've got a large 21 micarta insingo: it's one of my favorite CRK's of all.

I agree with you about the Snakewood Mnandi. I would get one in Damascus. Just hope it's comfortable for me too.

I would suggest a 25 as well... Completely different feel than a large 21. Super smooth right to the point of lockup. No pre-click before the CRK thunk! Just WHAM! I run a small 21 during the week during this time of year. On the weekend either a Large 21 or 25. The 25 always shocks me at how much of a different knife it is than the 21. Once your get the hang of setting the pivot, which my 4 year old could do, its really a tough debate on which of them I prefer.

I read it elsewhere, but my ideal knife would be a large 21 with ceramic ball lockup and bigger washers. My 25's pivot doesn't getting dirty nearly as fast as my 21s. Maybe the extra grease in bigger washers?

(Inkosi was to small for my hands in the store... plus they don't come decorated as per your restriction of no pjs)

I don't think any of us NEED anymore knives but that's not gonna stop any of us now is it?! [emoji3]

Nice collection you have going there; I'd suggest a carbon fiber 25, awesome knife, and to put a bow on top of it all, the most excellent TiLock. Just saying...:)
