Given all the heavy discussions that went on the last couple of weeks I thought I would lighten the place up a bit.

I just recently bought this Lloyd Hale dagger from Don Guild and as you can see it's quite an elaborate piece. This week I received a very nice note from Lloyd Hale thanking me for purchasing one of his knives and having trust in his abilities as a knifemaker. Talking about humility in a man coming from one of the best makers in the business (IMHO).

Along with the note came this picture. It brought a smile on my face and I hope on yours as well.

marcel...that is great....that would look great if i could have someone print it out and put it on my wall.....great pic for sure.....ryan
 
Marcel - It is impossible to argue against anything about this dagger. I had been checking it out on Guild's site for some time. I have a love (and collection) of art daggers and what's not to love with this new beauty of yours. Yes, they are all users - I use them every day by looking at mine and loving them!
 
No doubt about it...when the last chapter is writen, Lloyd's work
will be right up there at the top of the list.
 
From the little I know of Lloyd, and the few moments I spent with him
when he came over to my book distributor's table to sign MY COPY
of my fourth book, the twinkle in his eyes hinted something about his
sense of humor. Now I know I was not mistaken...........

I Dont even like the high art stuff usually, BUT THIS KNIFE LOOKS UNBELIEVABLE! The impression to me is Gothic, Eastern European..

Amazing skill!

Can someone tell me what the fine print under "all my knives are users" reads? ..my cell ph. computer has a tiny screen! :(
