I just received my first, but definitely not my last, Sebenza.

A Large Regular Sebbie born, no more than a month ago, March 7, 2005. I am speechless because although I had read alot of praises about this CRK, I had never handled one in person save for a quick look at a Classic some years ago at a gun show. It is everything that I expected it to be...and more.

I plan on using her, and using her hard. The scratches will only add character, IMO.

Thank you, CRK, for such a truly remarkable blade!

I feel a new addiction beginning..... :D  :D

And just think. As nice and smooth as it is now, it will get even smoother with use!

Congrats, and I recommend an annual edition with wood inlays for your next.

The reversed screws look better.
I agree that your next one should be a Woodie.

Didn't have a chance to post last night, but after the BBQ on Saturday, I gave the Sebbie its' first disassembly and cleaning.....and also reversed the screws. :D I used it for some food prep and then some serious cardboard that was about 3/8" thick(from exercise equipment box) to burn afterwards. This knife just kept cutting and cutting nonstop!!

I didn't have any CRK grease so I used some Militec grease from the free sample that I had asked for some time ago. I only applied a little, not too much, and the action is as smooth as silk.

Can't get enough of those Sebenzas!

Hmmm wonder where all my tax return money is going?

Seems a lot of people here are thinking like I am.

Put the polished heads on the "none-clip, purtty-side" and the socket-head ends on the "ugly-clip, not-decorated-if -you've-got-a-cgg-model-like-I-do side"!!
Clear as mud, right??? :D

Larry S.

...you have been to Mt. Boise and have received your Holy Tool! Now go forth and measure twice....cut once...and prosper....so that you may find it easier to acquire additional tools from His Highness Chris and Her Highness Anne, Grasshopper!! :D  :D

I MUST reverse my screws! althought I have to check first as it's a left-handed model ... :)
