Interesting as a letter opener, but I really think that steel makes a better blade than laminated wood. As I say, as a letter opener it looks like it would do a fine job.

That looks great. Looks like he ground the bevel along the natural grain of the wood.

It's funny you put this up; I've got a ton of wooden knives lying around my house. I'm too much of a wuss to try real steel...
