  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

All right, who can tell me when the Waimea is going to be coming out?

Howdy all! Well, since none of the vendors I use can tell me, I thought I'd stop in and see if any of y'all would know. Saw the promotional stuff and think it'd make a great small knife. Just need to know when and how much. Anyone?!?

It's the one that looks like the Mayo(cause it is one :D) but with a bowie type blade.

It's smaller though. A 2.63 in. blade.

SUGGESTED RETAIL I $270.00. BUT YOU'LL SEE IT IN STORES FOR ALOT LESS. JUST TALKED TO MY BUYER TODAY AND ALL 2007 BUCKS WERE ORDERED LAST WEEK, SO THEY SHOULD BE SHOWING UP ANY DAY NOW.

2007 :D
Edited: just checked the 2007 catalog, it looks like the Mayo TNT... (only smaller?)
$270.00 retail... probably find it in the mid to upper $100's if your lucky :D

I actually like the blade geometry on this one more than the TNT.
I will definitely being adding one to my list of knives to get in 2007.

Thanks for the info! Actually, I believe its a smaller rendition of the "Moran-esque" TNT's that Tom did for his 25th anniversary of knifemaking. I'm looking forward to this, as I think I can sneak it in as a Boston-legal blade.

Thanks for the info, again!!

So, the Waimea is out, I've seen a few on e-bay. Has anyone had their hands on one of these? I like the look of it, flat scales and the upswept blade

Got one last week to early ,to tell but she
looks like a keeper.

Thanks EEE, and thanks for the pics. I was wondering if it carried tip up or down. Some folks are saying they're going to wait a while until Buck "works out the bugs" on this new knife, and they reference the first Buck Mayo. Are you happy with the fit/finish and mechanics on this one? Open smooth, lock up tight, no blade play?

Mine is a 10 so far on the above.

Hows this knife? I MUST have this sexy beast! Is the blade centered when closed?

Mine is centered and I have carried it a few times
while in my street clothes. No serious cutting,
strings twine and 1 envelope.I like it!
I carry a Buck Xtract and AG110 ,560 w/BG42 while at work.
