I'd have to say snakewood is my favorite wood handle material for a slippie. Nice pic, Dennis!

Ya know, Dennis... there's a guy on another forum always showing off his guns and the standard reply has become "I hate you, xxx."

I think I'm gonna start a "I hate Dennis" club.

Beautiful knives, Dennis. I always click on your threads to see the pics.

thanks fellows for the replys it's nice to know the photo effort is appreciated.malextwo as to wear the only yardstick i can mention is my paring knife by Phillip Dobson. this user has been above my sink for several months & no swelling or color loss from the wet cutting. the blade is m4 & i guess you guys know australian snakewood is one of the hardest in the world with an index about 230% harder than hickory.
dennis---however after a tip from joe bob i put a little carnuba wax on the scales every 2 or 3 months.

The Snakewood looks really nice on these knives. So many woods with fancy grain do not work well with slipjoints because of the diminutive size. The tightness of the grain/figure comes across really well.

Thanks for sharing!
