Need cash for emergency car repairs so sadly I have to sell some favorites. Feel free to make offers, I won't be offended by your offer if you won't be offended by my possible refusal of it :)

Spyderco Gayle Bradley.

I got this new and the following has been done to it:

  • I had Steve from STR fit a lowrider pocket clip in blue Ti to match denim jeans, disappears in a pocket now.
  • Knifenut sharpened it down to 0.25 micron paste, it's a solid edge of mirror polished metal. It has been used but I strop it and it's still insanely sharp.
  • The edges of the liners have been polished all the way around.
  • I tied 3 loops of 550 paraord through the spyderhole, and now it can be waved easier than an Emerson. If I want to take it out my pocket without opening, my finger naturally rests over the tip of the blade and prevents it from opening. Of course the cord can just be snipped off if you don't want it there but it makes opening with a thumb super easy too. Ugly but easily removed, I'll do it if you want.
  • I tied a lanyard on, it's 6 diamond knots.
  • Not a spot of rust anywhere, I treat all knives with Tuf-Glide. No play, very smooth opening.

Comes with box, bag and papers. Also comes with the stock clip which is not pictured but like new, never used.

Asking $200 $190 $180 $150 USD shipped worldwide with tracking and insurance.

Emerson CQC-8.

I got this new too last year and carried for a couple months and then the following was done to it, haven't carried since:
  • I got Krein (he had it for 3 months) to do a hollow grind to .010 then a slight secondary bevel for ease of sharpening in future and he gave it a two tone look with the flats bead blasted and the bevels satin finished. The liners were smoothed and polished all the way around (I hate the crappy rough non-finish from Emerson) and the left scale cut out for releasing the lock was relieved a little for better access. There is only 1 sharp edge on the knife now :)
  • It's had a Titanium lowrider clip fitted from STR's Backyard Knife Works. The clip was fitted on the left scale, so it can be carried in the right front pocket and wave opened into a reverse grip lightning quick.
  • I got a carbon fiber and rubber thumb disc for it too, from Haze. Much softer on the thumb than the stock one, which I still have and will include.
  • I tied a lanyard with 550 paracord and 5 diamond knots. The lanyard is gripped between the thumb and forefinger when waving, gives a great grip.
  • Lockup is bang in the middle of the tang. No play, smooth pivot.

Asking $260 $250 $240 $210 USD shipped worldwide with tracking and insurance.
