Hey guys today i'm just showing you all the knives I have made so far..
I'm a lot better now at making knives so these are the first knives ive ever made.
By the way the smaller one with the brown wood handle was made to look rugged like that.
If you have questions let me know.. Also i might post a thread for some of these up for sale so let me know if you like them...
They are all made out of heat treat and tempered 1095 steel
Hope you enjoy :) Also post feedback on how you like them so i can improve more please!!!

Keep working on it, not many people start that young! As you get more experience and better tooling, your knives will continue to improve :thumbup:

Agreed. Practice and you tube are your best friends when starting out ;).
 
good for you, keep up the work. Stick with it and you'll have your own fullblown shop and custom operation someday
 
I thought a person had to be 14-15 to even join? I feel like I'm on Xbox Live now.
 
I have a few nephews about your age and their life revolves around Xbox,Ipads and TV. Good on you.I couldn't make what you make and I'm 4x your age.

I really like the 3rd one down;don't know why.Looks like it's been through a zombie apocalypse.
 
Way to go! Keep up the good work! Remember, it is better to regret something you have done than to regret something you have not done.
 
I think it's awesome you've got a hobby like this at your age and I hope you keep us updated with new stuff so we can see how you improve.
 
:D Not bad at all for a 13 year old. Keep going and you'll keep getting better with every knife you make.

If you know THEY'RE (not THERE) bad, (that last one is a comma. Learn to use it), why are you asking for input? If you can make knives, great. Keep working at it and maybe your work will improve. But they look like poorly made prison shivs, especially with the fake blood. You may only be 13, but you've posted over 200 times, so your break in period is over. I'm just being honest.

BTW, tell the kid the truth. If he was 25, you all would goof on him. Honest criticism is ok. He knows the site well enough to understand the way things are here. We are straight with others, so give the kid credit enough to be straight.

Coming from a standpoint of being just a year old than this kid, but also from being here on BF for awhile, I half agree and half disagree with you. For one, he looks like he's just starting, and his work isn't that bad. Everyone can't be a master with a forge. But I also agree that if he were older, people would destroy him.

His work isn't terrible and represents an earnest desire to improve his skills, hence all the encouragement here, but without any real criticism he won't learn and improve. I've seen a lot of artists online who have been at it for years but never improve because they're showered with praise for their mediocre art and take a "haters gonna hate" attitude towards anyone who offers any kind of advice or suggestion, and as a result are never able to "make it" beyond their little comfortable insular bubble. It would really be a disservice to him to not offer our honest opinions.
 
I made a few knives as a teen. I'd advise you to spend more time on one or two knives instead of making lots of them without much attention to detail.
