........I had to break out some of the remaining tenderloin from last season.....for supper tonight.

The good stuff with all of the ingredients. :)

On the grill.....soaking in...well, all of the ingredients. ;)

After I take them out of the beer and mixins, I put them directly on the grill for a few seconds on each side. Overcooked them a bit tonight.....too much of a buzz I suppose. :D

Wait a minute...

That looks like year-old-meat, squirt-on-butter, and I don't recognize that beer with a picture of a fish on it (yes, I'm a beer expert, in my own mind).

I'm calling foul.. ;)

Looks great!!! What game animal did the tenderloin come from; deer, pig, elk, antelope?

You got that right....year old meat (still good), squirt-on-butter (that's all I got in the fridge), and Two Hearted Ale by Bell's Brewery (you wouldn't know anything about that;)). What else would you expect from a guy from Kentucky, right? :D

This particular cut came from a deer my hunting buddy shot. He thought it was a doe until after he shot it and walked up on it......it had tiny little antlers. I gave him hell about his "button buck", but he did better than I did. :)

Bravo, Sir!

I'm going to see if I can find that beer anywhere around here.

I'm still worried about your squirt-on butter...

Looks good my hunting buddy brought some tenderloins dove hunting last week. They were wrapped in bacon and marinated for two days. Man they were better than any beefsteak i've ever had. He is one heck of a wild game cook and he enjoys it. He and his family eat about 4 or 5 deer a year plus turkeys doves, rabbits, squirrels. But he really knows how to prepare wild game. I ate four of those tasty steaks they were yummy.:)
