Can someone please give me some insight into the many references to hogs, pigs, pork, bacon, etc?

Is this a military, LE or Busse thing?

Thanks

It's a Busse thing. It would be anticlimactic at this point to explain the origins. Better to remain a mystery. That said: I like to pork. Does that count?

It came about several years ago when one of the Long time Busse Owners made a comment similar to "Hey quit Hogging all the knives at the table/trough" or something similar. It just kind of took off from there.

Original comment was from OneWhoBuys (OneWhoPorks) around 2001-2002

:D:D

Thanks guys!

I suppose I'll have to work on my hog skills since I am now in love with INFI!:D:thumbup:

Don't tell my wife that!

One of the biggest porkers around!:D:D:

And, Mr. "No Regrets".:D:

And, "I blame Isaacson".:D:

And, of course, Skunk.:D:

And, a few others that you do NOT want to get between you and the trough., or rather, the trough and you.:D

Brother, the reference to the swine lingo is purely a Busse Combat knife lingo thing.
Hogs are the Master Busse Combat knife gurus (ergo, have many pieces of INFI and first hand knowledge of INFI).
Inducted HOGS are the ones who have attended Fogos and have been inducted into HOGDOM by Boss HOG or inducted via this medium by the INFI maker)
Pigs are the Hog wanabees.
Pork is just that, Pork
Piglet, is a first time INFI recipiant
etcetera

Doesn't the Chuckette (the biggest, baddest piece pf Busse pork EVER) belong to OneWhoBuys?
