Thanks! :)

Yea that was a bigger issue, took some time to sort this out. Couple hundred openings and closings and a few dozen times of taking it apart and back together, but no worries now. To be honest, it is not as glass smooth as a folder with steel on steel, but it's close enough and 100% functional.

Amazing work, BladeMan. Are those bronze washers I see? I thought you said "all-titanium!":D

I'm also curious to find out if the lock hammer/blade thing gets more smooth over time, maybe work-hardens as it breaks in, or what. It's probably going to continue to work just fine.

Smashing job on that, it's a classy-looking knife.

Yeah, I came back several times to look at them again, noticing more little details. Such as how thin the scales are, with their stealth fighter jet facets.
Yeah, those are some THICK liners...I could get by with a bare version so I can just engrave the crap out of it, lol:D

Thanks Guys, and Girl :D

That was some challenging knife, the more it gets completed the harder it gets.
Liners are for men, nothing for Luschen. But yes, since they are the same thickness the blade started out, i wanted the Micarta scales thin to make the handle not to thick overall. And i want to resemble this folder to the knife i made before, kind of set of fixed and folder.
At the front and back, the Micarta is only 1 mm thick, the grove in the middle is almost down to zero. Because it's so thin, it almost adds nothing to the weight.

WValtakis WValtakis , Funny that you mention it. I thought about engraving one. Will definitely make a bare one, maybe some Micarta overlay, covering only some small part of the handle. Will also try one with an all Micarta handle too. The back could be engraved too, especially the part behind the lockbar with the spacer and liner together. The blade could be engraved as well.

Mecha Mecha , i noticed a change in behavior while i was at the galling issue with the tang and lockbar. I think it work hardens already after those couple hundres openings and the threatment i did in between. There is almost none to no wear at all now and it's really smooth working with some minor little galling here and there. It was a tedious process to make it work, along with 5 springs i had to make, but i really learned a ton. Should make it much easier for the coming folders.

Dawkind Dawkind , i have nano oil but prefer TufGlide. It works very well on this knife, it reduced friction noticeably. When i was still tuning it, i did everything dry with no oil or whatsoever.

Ya man. Sometimes I think the last 10% of the work needed takes 90% of the time put into a piece, at least when it comes to the final minute shaping and shining.
Yeah, but that last 10% fit and finish is what sets you (both) apart;)

Excellent work, you definitely have a steady hand.
I think it looks good with or without the ivory Micarta.
