If you are like me, the more exciting life gets, the better. I often think to myself that as I grow old, I will never regret not spending more time behind the desk.
I enjoy camping, hunting, hiking, boating, fishing, and almost any other activity involving the outdoors.
I also have a weird attachment to my favorite knife, I like to take it everywhere on any of my adventures. Right now that knife is a small Sebenza.
I feel that it is a good balance of EDC and outdoor adventurer all in one package.

What is your favorite outdoor Adventure knife?
Folder or fixed, it makes no difference as long as it is the knife that you feel most comfortable with.

Whoa there! You got many of the same outdoor adventure likings as myself. Can't do one knife though....

Camping: Yep, got one for that.
Hunting: All together different one there.
Hiking: Uh-oh, another different one.
Boating: Hmm, another different one.
Fishing: Well, you see the point by now.

My favorite all around adventure knife? If I was to carry one of em for all those activities listed above, I'd pack the Camillus/Fisk OVB Bowie knife. This baby has adventure written all over it.

If you took that one away, well I'd have to pick.... wait a minute, you ain't takin' that one away. So the OVB it is.

Ah. A man after my own tastes. I do the same kind of outdoor activities. Lots of hiking, canoeing, fishing and camping.

My most often carried outdoor knife is my SAK Tradesman, which recently replaced my beloved SAK Huntsman. I never leave home without a SAK. The saw, awl and blade are just too handy to live without.

I also carry a Marbles Fieldcraft most of the time. The 52100 steel and convex grind are great for whittling and whatever else the outdoors has to offer. I've put this knife through hell, and it's never shown any sign of giving up.

The only tactical I carry in the outdoors is a Spyderco Miltary while fishing. The tip is great for gutting fish, and the handle is very grippy when my hands are wet.

Somehow carrying both a fixed and a folder just seems "right" to me.

For a folder I'm going with my ol' faithful AFCK.

Fileted fish, whittled wood, open boxes, cut rope, pry up heavy BBQ grills, cut weeds, food prep and so much more!!!

Handle grips great in wet environments too...

Oh, another easy-to-answer question :)...It would have to be my SOG Trident! In-fact, I like this knife so much that I traded for another one, and now I have a matched pair!..

Favorites! My favorite topic!

I always take my Dozier Pro Skinner, but rarely use it. I love to save it for it's intended use - SKINNING. So it just sits, waiting for the moose and caribou. Don't get me wrong it works great for almost anything, but it is my "special" hunting knife.

So for eveything else, my new favorite is a handforged 52100 custom by Bill BUXTON, wood handle, brass guard, kinda looks like a pronghorn. Nice thin blade is awesome for camp duty. Great heavy leather sheath too. One of the best knives I've seen.

These are the two favorites I carry in the bush, or on the tundra. Dozier in a cross-draw on the left, Buxton on the right hip.

Oh, and a SAK rucksack in the front right pocket, Fallkiniven WM-1 around the neck, and a LM supertool on the belt or in the pack.
Don't forget the GB forest axe in the pack too, if I'm going for a while, or on a boat, ski-doo, or atv.

whew!! It seems like alot, but it works for me.

Then there's the Win. Mod 70 .308, the S&W 9mm...

Regards
Jim
