Last week I ran out of bacon well before my next trip into town. Needless to say, the trauma was almost unbearable. In fact, without all my awesome Busse and kin choppers and my "bad log", I don't think I would have survived.

To make sure that doesn't happen again, I got plenty of bacon while in town tonight, including this jumbo huge, mega two pack of peppered bacon.

I almost got bacon wrapped hot dogs to wrap crescent rolls around, but I gotta save something for later, right?

You must go to town every day. That would last me about a meal and a half. :p

Yum. . . . .

bacon wrapped hot dogs

You definitely should have bought them. . . :D

I can hear your arteries clogging as you type... But hey we all gotta die sometime, you had me at bacon!!!!

If I'm going to die from something, I'd like to think that a slow death from bacon wouldn't exatly be the worst way to go.

if theres still some left on the shelf you didnt get enough! hope it lasts till the next trip, but remember....theres no such thing as too much bacon!

Too small too thin.... serve that up in a camp here and they would beat you to death for "teasing" ... ;) :D

Want to hear real sacrilege Andy? I bought a microwave bacon rack while I was at the store. My mom used to prepare (I almost said cook) bacon in the microwave and I have a lot of fond memories of bacon as a child. I tried it, then I remembered all my fondest bacon memories were at my grandma's house were she pan fried it.

I have an update I tried earlier, bacon in my turbo convection oven/oil-less fryer. Worked pretty well, more controllable than pan frying, but with the same effect.

Give me a slow death by bacon and chocolate and I wouldn't complain...
