Here are some pix of a trip a couple bros and I went on. It was a great time and would've been nice to have another week out there! I wouldn't say there was a whole lot of survival goin on but we did hunt some frogs and roast up their hind legs as well as dispatch a snake! I think it was a copperhead but not sure. Maybe one of you know?

Looks great and so peaceful. How much of the river did you canoe and where did you start?

It's been years since I canoed the Allegheny, I was wondering where you put in also ?
Edit: Nice pics btw :)

Definitely a blast! We put in 30mi north of Tionesta at Buckaloons and paddled back. Contacted a place called Tionesta Outback Adventures to take us, our gear and canoe up river and left the truck at their place. Only cost $25.
