I am doing a big knife review and one of the knives being tested is Allen Blade's Chipmunk. The other knives are all really great, and I received Allen's blade today and the thing is superb. I don't want to let on, but let's just say his pictures on the website don't do it justice, and if his other knives are half as good as this one then you can't go wrong with this guy. I'll be interested to get into the testing phase and pit the Running Dog Knives Little Camper against the Chipmunk. They are about the same size and one is 1095 while the other is 1084. Should be a good match-up! You'll see more when the review comes out, but let's just say I have my work cut out for me to find flaws with the ten knives I am reviewing!

GOOD LUCK ON THE REVIEW I havent actually held his knives yet but have seen many pics and I personally love the look of them...

That got to you pretty fast,just mailed it the other day. I guess the USPS is alot better and faster than UPS or FEDEX,,seems more Reliable also.

Huh? Is Michael making the Lil Camper in BG42 again already? Or is this from that first run?

Mike Running Dog decided to make more BG42 knives because of the interest expressed in emails and telephone calls. I think he'll do them in batches.

I asked for a lil camper in BG42. Hopefully, he'll get to it in the next batch of BG42's he does. As far as I know, he hasn't done a lil camper in that steel yet.
