Allen Blade's Bowies

Great pictures!!!! I especially like the stainless guard! I have never been a big fan of brass on knives!

Anyway, they look great, and although I have never owned, or handles one of Allen's knives, I have never heard anything bad about them.... As a matter of fact, I have never heard anything but good about Allen, and his work!

His prices are so reasonable too!!! You can bet your bottom dollar, i'll be adding some of his work to my collection in the near future!

Well Charlie, I took your advice and ordered myself a model 10 combat patrol bowie in 5160. Those are some sweet blades, and the prices are great! I can hardly wait...

The wait will be tough, but you will be rewarded for the effort with one of the best ground blades around. Allen's grinds are so uniform and neat, you'd almost think the knives had been cast. The fit and finish of his handles and guards is also impeccable.
Then when you think you've seen it all, you start to go over the sheath. Allen does some of the best sheath work I have ever seen. His blades are rattle free in the sheath, but oh so easy to remove. They won't come out unless you want, though. All in all, Rolls class craftsmanship at VW prices. And after all that, they are extremely usable, not just pretty faces. Enjoy.
 
I'll post pics when I get the knife, but it may be a little while because I requested some custom features (stainless guard and pommel, stabilized wood handle). I'm also thinking about getting a custom leather swing sheath by Kenny Rowe, as I don't really like Kydex very much, and I like the feel of a swing sheath better on a beefy knife like the one I ordered. It makes hiking a bit more comfortable when the butt doesn't jab you in the ribs

I got a talonite MEUK on order from Allen that should be done very soon......ALlen I'm dy'n up here without it....LOL

Allen does great work. I have a Talonite Tad Pole that I talked my friend into letting me buy his....hehehe and I have a very old neck knife that Allen made years ago on my motorcycle backpack with a very well made kydex sheath.

Allen makes using knives for a great price and you can't go wrong with anything from him. You won't be disappointed.

Nice pics as well, makes me want that smaller one! I just got this knife in a trade and love it, the kydex sheath is very well made and super secure! you could highdive from an airplane and not worry about it coming out!
And Allen your rascally page is still only about 30% working so fix it already!

Blade is measured from in front of the guard to the tip of the blade, the balance point on this knife is just blade side of the guard, I can place my finger along side the guard and the knife balances quite nicely!
