On Saturday we had our quarterly GA Custom Knifemakers Guild meeting. My term on the board was up and Allen stepped up and took my place as the VP. The VP schedules the three demos and finds shops to host meetings. Its not an easy job. I'm proud of Allen for stepping up and serving. He'll do well in the role. He always does.

Congratulations, Allen!!! The GA Knifemaker's Guild is a super credible organization with large percentage of this country's best knifemakers!

Really awesome news for both Allen & the shop -- its pretty amazing that not one, but two makers within the FBF family have now been given the opportunity to serve as the Vice President of the GA guild. Way cool guys & congratulations Allen!!!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
 
Thank you for stepping up Allen. I have a feeling there will be at least a moment over the next year when you will ask yourself why you ever agreed to do the job. But, most thankless jobs that I have volunteered to do in church, work and other organizations, I have always received more than I have given. You have a very good group of makers down there. Keep up the good work.
 
What kind of shape is the President in? Could be president Allen:D!
