Allen Wood knives

Is anyone here familiar with the British custom knife maker, Allen Wood? He currently has a knife commisioned by the British survival expert (and personal hero of mine) Ray Mears under the Woodlore name. This knife has a 10 year waiting list, and while it's a nice piece of kit, i'd rather not wait 10years for something just because it has Mr Mears name on it, and i don't really wanna pay 1000bucks on ebay either.

What i'm hoping is maybe someone knows another knife of equal quality, or indeed superior.
 
Have a look through the Wilderness Skills & Survival subforum here. They'll show you a woodcraft knife or two.
 
If ya have a look for Alan Wood you might have better results.

You can always snap one up on the British Blade forum as he still makes other knives too.
He makes some lovely lil hunting knives that I prefer to the woodlore knife.
