I love to get in the woods, but when I do my allergies like to kill me. I have tried all the allergy medicens and they do not help. I have been taking allergy shot now for about 6 months but cannot tell alot of difference. I can go in the woods, and the next day I will have a terrible headache. Makes a man want to give up. Anyone got any suggestions? They would be GREATLY appreciatted.

The shots eventually lessened my symptoms by a large margin but I took them for about 2 years. Benedryl gets the rest but it takes a few weeks of using it to get over the drowsiness it can cause. I take 50 mg as needed, some days are better than others.

We all live with different levels of pain - get out there and forgetta bout it  Ratchet up the adrenaline exposure and you will understand

Headaches aren't usually a sign of allegies. Allergies usually hit you all at once, and don't clear up until you leave the source of the irritation.

Headaches, on the other hand, are common in the woods...and are a sign of dehydration. Are you drinking enough water, or only when you feel thirsty? The problem with being outdoors, and what makes mild dehydration common, is that you don't feel thirsty due to the physical activity.
