I've always been behind in my collection with Kershaw, they seem to always get pushed to the back burner and forgotten. I don't know why, I've never touched a kershaw I didn't want 5 of. Long story short I was at walmart the other day and I noticed they restocked they're knife case and there was an all black blur and an all black leek in there. The blur was tanto..not my taste really. The leek though, I've wanted one of those since I learned they existed. I bought it and it was only 45 after tax. It immediately booted my mini ritter grip out of my pocket right there at the counter, and I LOVE that knife. I like the feel of the all DLC coating too, I've had wonderful experience with the DLC on my Spyderco Para 2. My ONLY complaint is that the tip is paper freakin' thin. This is the first I've ever been worried about the tip of a knife. I already bent it slightly somehow. :c

I'm going to have to start a collection of leeks now, I want more colors!

That is all. Just wanted to rant about my new knife. Feel free to chat about whatever or just skip over this and read another more meaningful post. Sorry for wasting anyone's time :p

Oh and if you're confused by the title its the latin name for a leek.
 
I have my eye on 3 more leeks right now, but I want to see if I enjoy carrying this one first.

I will get the purple and orange ones just because they are pretty.
 
Get either a g10 leek or random leek next, the better steel makes it so much better of a knife. Or maybe a cb... I beat on mine
 
Just got my NIB 1660BLKST Leek in the mail today. It is by far the prettiest Leek I own and I have a few. Unbelievable black boron shine. Just a sweet sweet knife. I will try to get some good pics and make a post later tomorrow.

That leek is what started my love for collecting kershaws.....Funny thing is i got it at Walmart as well for same price. Be prepared to start a long journey i now have 53 kershaws in just the last year

The G10 leek is the one I wanted to get first but I couldn't justify the extra cost. Now that I have handled one I think I can now. I don't usually buy knives too often though so it'll be a while before I get them two. I also really like the look of the composite one with the d2 edge. I want the orange and purple aluminum handled ones too.
