The Hawkbill Back up Almar with leather sheath. It looks very nice, along with the model1, My question is: does anyone have this knife. On new Grahahm It's pictured with a leather belt sheath. On MD Tactical the pics they have look like they have the belt loop is on both sides so you can wear it both ways, left hander or right hander, or right side, and draw it edge out? it doesn't look like the pic is backwards because the gun and everything else is the same, I don't get it. It would be nice if it is what it looks like. anyone know?

I have the al mar backup, but the other one with the more traditional point. I believe the sheath is the same, but I could be wrong. I have been collecting knives for many years now, and this knife has to be one of the best knives in the world to me. the feel of it is great, and is perfect size. hope this helps.

That is correct - same belt loop set-up on both sides of the sheath ~ either vertical or horizontal carry.
WOW!!!!!HOLY SH**!!!! I honestly thought that the pic was being shown bacwards on MDTactical, but the gun looked the same so I had to ask. And all the 50 sites I looked at never mentioned a thing about the sheath having a loop on both sides, much less being able to wear it cross-draw. they really should let people know that. I think a lot more would sell. For me I'd rather have leather, but I use Kydex a lot because it gives you more options. if I would have known that I would have bought both models a long time ago when I had the money. I am going to write them an email and say they should make it a point. all they have to say is: Leather sheath, right or left side carry, and cross-draw option. Simple
