For all around use should I get the coated version of this knife or the uncoated version?

Uncoated for sure. The BEST liner lock that is commercialy made today. Keep'em sharp

Uncoated. Most coatings tend to wear off and look terrible rather quickly. The VG-10 blade should be able to handle corrosion problems with reasonable care with no coating needed.

Go for it. It's probably the best tough-use folder for the money out there.

 

[Practical Use]

Uncoated. The VG-10 does not need a coating. Most excellent knife and very good steel.
