Almite and scratches

Been thinking of purchasing one of the Spyderco (I have no spydercos) Lum Chinese folders (have on ZDP folders) in their sprint run later this year. I note it comes with "almite" scales. This presumably is some sort of anodised aluminium. Does it scratch up very easily like aluminium scales or is it a bit more wear resistant
I am also interested if anyone has one of the older Lum Chinese folders - how well executed was the liner lock? I really don't like any blade play.
