I onceaw something in an A. G. Russell catalogue but don't remember the details. My clippers are usually just something from the cosmetics section at Walmart until I lose them and have to go get another pair. Any other options out there?

The French made clipper that A.G.Russell sells are by far the best out there that I`m aware of. (And for $30, they better be!) They`re built more like a wood plane than your typical nail clipper. I`d recommend them to anyone that needs a decent set of clippers.

The Clippers from AG Russell are GREAT! I recommend them highly. They are worth the $$$$ if you want something NICE.

We use some miniature electronics Snap-on dykes I've had them since 1968 and after a million fingernail and toenail clippings and all the household wirestripping duties they are still sharp, no dings and the spring is good. There is a model# I guess, of E711 on them. I have not been able to find another pair. I have tried other brands butt none are like this pair.

Geez, and the wife thought I was a wacko for using an old but good set of Klein dikes. What else can I say, a great tool is hard to beat, be it a knife or a pair of wire snips. BTW I use a LARGE old papercutter to cut up cloth into pieces for rags, works great. Great way to dispose of any cotton clothing thats on its way out. Also wacks up tire tubes to make big strong rubberbands, all kind of good uses.

I agree with everyone for the AG Russell nail clippers for $30.00. Best ones I have ever owned. I got mine at the Blade Show in 99 he was setup in the booth beside me.
