This knife came in yesterday afternoon and it is the twin to one that was offered a couple of days back. Looks the same and feels the same. Here it is.

One of our new kamis without a name (yet) made this khukuri that is one like he might make in his village but with BirGorkha implications like the Hi habaki bolster and no dig or loosen flat buttcap. And, he has done a very good job with this one.

The khukuri is about 18.5 inches, 7/16 thick and weighs almost two pounds. The fit is too good for a village model and the finish is a nice satin with no grind marks visible. Handle is rough saatisal but nicely done. He has this blade hardened up to about 59 Rc and it has a good sharp edge but I am running out of hair on my arm so did not test it for razor.

The karda and chakma are nice size but with same rough handles and chakma shows a few rust spots but nothing serious.

The scabbard is made by BirGorkha but with leather not up to HI standards. Frog is HI superfrog but not up to current standards.

This khukuri is a tough one, meant for heavy use and will last 100 years.

We will deliver this rig to your door for $75 and that's another very good buy.

Call or email if interested.

uncle,
would this be a fairly easy blade to clean up? looks like something my dad might like.
if so, I think I'd like to pick it up.
