I had a good customer contact me about making him another knife. He said, "My only input on this knife is that I want a brass guard and butt cap, a stag handle, and a mosaic pin. The rest is up to you." He told me what price range he was looking at, then turned me loose (a dangerous thing, I might add).

He said that he didn't even want a photo of the finished knife. He just wanted to be suprised.

Well, here is what I came up with. He has received the knife and is happy with the end results.

O-1 Steel
Brass guard w/nickel silver spacer
Brass Butt Cap
Sambar Stag
OAL - 11 5/8"
Blade Tip to Guard - 6 7/8"

Your craftsmanship, materials used and customer request input made for one more than gorgeous knife.

I can't think of a single change I'd make. Wonderful flowing lines! I love that kind of wrapping retention strap too.

Monday I felt like a kid at Christmas when I saw the package from Robert. I didn't expect it for a couple of more weeks. The fit and finish are second to none. Robert you are a true artist.

The next one we will just agree on the style and price. No input from me.

Thanks again for this wonderful addition to my collection.
