almost finished 1084 and damascus

this one is almost finished it still needs too finish sharping and the handle to be epoxeyed (now it is still a take down)
10" 1084 blade OAL 15"
all damascus fittings with a silver spacer.
and stag.

comments or suggestions are welcome.

Very nice bowie! I need to do a stag handle one of these days when I'm brave enough to use such expensive material.:o
 
That looks very good! The guard is slightly on the thick side, but still a very nice blade!!
 
Your knives always look to be very well executed and overall designs well done and this one is no exception. However your guards very often seem too thick/wide/bulky in my opinion.

Please don't take this as a slam, as I like your knives, but just constructive critique.
 
I like the profile very much and the takedown hardware. I also think a little refining on the guard would enhance the looks of it.

I agree on refining the guard, but that handle and blade work is amazing...I love the profile of this piece.

Kevin: this is just the type of critique i wanted, the reason for posting is to get other peoples openion.
i will keep trying to refine the guards more and see what i can come up with.
