Ok so this knife is 95% complete. I have been grinding away now for about four months and in my opinion I am definitely still a newbie at this. I have been working on this one as my first that I plan to sell, but have had trouble getting all the little scratches out. They may or may not show in the pics. As soon as I can get them all out it will be on sale in the knifemakers sale area, but I decided to post some pics because I am needing a pick me up to keep going. I've put way too many hours into one knife, but don't really want to scrap it because it's so close to being finished. Sorry about the bad pics, doesn't really do the handle justice. Anyways, here are the specs:

Convex ground from CPM154 (1/8") and professionally heat treated with cryogenic treatment to RC of 59-60.

Handle: stabilized double dyed (orange-black) box elder burl with stainless steel pins and black fiber liner

Sheath: veggie tanned leather dyed black and handmade by me; wet fitted

Blade cutting edge: 3 7/8"
Overall Length: 8 1/2"

Edge Bevel: haven't decided yet; if you have any opinions I would love to hear them!!

Looks nice!

I like the patterning on the sheath to match the handle pattern.
