i was driving home and saw a couple of wild hogs along side the road that were half grown. i tried to chase them down with my car and then run out with a hunting knife to catch them. i almost thought about ramming my car into them and then cutting their throats or something. man those guys are fast. just wish i had grandpas 22 in my car along with the stingers. i think now is a good time to build a hog trap for my yard. HEHEHEHEHE!!!!

If you are going to hunt hogs with a knife, you need at least 4 very well trained dogs. This is a rather dangerous way to hunt them, even with dogs. I went with someone that hunted this way with five dogs, and the hog nearly drowned my buddy in a livestock tank. It would be better to build a trap and shoot them in the ear with a .22. Easy, safe, no running, it's kind of like going to HEB but you get to shoot something!

.22 seems light for hogs unless you've got them pened in and can place the shot just so. I don't know what kind of girly-man hogs you've got out there, but the ones out here (Russian Boar) will trample you down and chew you up if you get 'em mad. 300 to 400 pounds of ugly terror if you flub a shot at close range.

these were only 50# pigs. would have been some tender meat. i know we get some big ones out here. ours are javalina. if i get a full grown hog you will see me smoking them ribs for 24 hours.

Javelina are "NOT" in season right now in Texas. I am a hunter and sportsman. I enjoy having this privilege, and do not wish to have my hunting opportunities limited because of the impression that you would create with the general (non-hunting) public. Will you be able to bring down the entire hunting communities privileges all by yourself? Absolutely not! However, there are many people in this country who act as irresponsibly as you seem to act. Taken as a whole, you and others like you, can affect my rights and privileges in the long run. It's difficult enough to keep the government from taking our guns and knives away, as well as keeping our hunting privileges!

Please Jacob, take a good hard look at yourself and try to see yourself as others see you. You seem to have very little regard for laws and very little sense of what is right and what is wrong. You remind me a lot of an "out of control" teenager, who doesn't care how others perceive him. You can however affect others, because we as a community (whether it is the community of knifemakers, or the community of hunters, or fisherman) are perceived by others dependent on "our" actions. I do not consider you a hunter or fisherman when you do what you tried to do. I consider it an act of someone operating outside of the law, and thus it is not hunting, but instead it is poaching.

Please think about more than your daily joy and desires, and think of others and how your actions can affect there lifestyles.

the last time i had checked there was no season on javelina. thats why i was going after them. i might have misread somewhere so thanks for clearing it up. i do abide by the laws and appologize if it came off that i didnt. i have never hunted out of season or fished and hunted without a license. i only have my hunting license right now so i havent gone fishing this year at all. i need to go back and read the seasons again. i do know that there is no season on axis tho. i also know that it is legal to bowfish catfish now. i dont speed or drive while being the slightest bit intoxicated (gr?). on my way home today i saw a deer that had been hit by a car and died about 30 mins before i got there but left it on the side of the road. one thing im very possitive on is the fact that harvesting deer antlers from a dead deer on the side of the road is legal. any laws that i missed that yall think i break?

also any other misconceptions yall have about me or thoughts about me feel free to say them here so i can help clear them up.

Unbelievable. Dude. You need to grow up, shut up. When you do blabber which is constantly. Stop and think for a second.

geez, point taken. im sorry if i feel as tho i have to clear up certain misconceptions about me. alot of people get the wrong idea about me. im just trying to keep that from happening by making sure they know who i really am. you cant judge someone just by what they say online. you also cant change the way someone is. you either like them or you dont. dont judge someone on their flaws but on who they really are. right now i dont really care if i make any enemies with this post. im just stating facts. i was taught to speak your mind. and i was also taught how to be respectful in the process. i know i come off as annoying but you need to get to know me for who i am in person and not for who i am online.

Nothing wrong with speaking your mind. You just need to maybe think twice sometimes. Stop and think about it. You created a post about trying to mow down hogs with your vehicle! I am in no way trying to judge you as a bad person. But; people that do not personally know you face to face can only judge you by what you say. You just come out with some really annoying (as you put it) things. By all means speak your mind. But don't give others a reason to have false impressions of you.

ya i know. the worst thing that could happen is that i find out IG really is my father. now thats scary!!!!! :D
