"Almost thin!" 14 oz. Kumar Kobra. Pix and bargain time.

ff7cab16.jpg.orig.jpg

This Kobra is 18 inches, 7/32 inch thick, and weighs 14 ounces, and is fashioned from a file -- some hatchmarks visible. Not quite the 3/16 we asked for but very close. Kumar has just about done it and I give him high marks for this effort. He has slowed down and is collecting bonuses for his work now rather than trying to set production records. It shows. Fit and finish are very good to excellent. Hardness is 59 to 60 Rc in chopping area. Karda and chakma are about the right size for the big blade and well done.

Scabbard is by the sarki with no name and is very nicely done and is tooled with the likeness of a dragon. The frog is the 100 year HI superfrog.

I have two like this (if I can find the second one) and we will deliver them to your door for $85 -- but remember, the kamis warn against trying to use the thin versions as a prybar and Rob has already told us what can happen when you do. But it is light and the quickest khukuri in the world and a joy to use.

Call or email if interested.

Uncle,
I want to at least look at it. If nothing else, postage can't be so much I can't send it back. I will send a small installment until payday.

PS:
Do you receive childrens wood toys from the villages? We would be interested in looking at those. Thanks

Looks sooo tempting. But considewrinhg that I already have three orders with uncle Bill at this time, I think I'll have to pass.
