I have no idea and still love last years cj pattern.

Almost get as excited over this as I do Blade.

What would you like to see this year?

For those in the know, are they going to announce next week at the shot show?

I'd love to see a Lanny's Clip, with any handle material, but especially a nice wood.

I'm hoping they can make it for under $200.

I hear ya about the coffin jack. Great looking knife. I'm slowly snoopin around for one with the right price. I recently got one of the tribal spears and man is it super. I'm currious about the next one as well. I'd love to see a teardrop jack with a wharnie that I saw on his web site.

You sure know how to stir it up, Gus!

I'd like to see something in the 3 1/2" closed size. Something easy on the pocket. Maybe a 2 blade congress or a or an equal end jack. Something slim and sharing a backspring. A sheepsfoot/wharncliffe/modified wharncliffe blade and a pen or drop point blade would make a great combo for either.

I would imagine all the usual selections of handle material will be available on the 2012, whatever it may be.

Na Na...I know....na na. They usually announce at SHOT. :p

Those in the know say they will spill the beans after the SHOT show. (duh, all of those in the know posted before me :foot:)

I can't wait to hear Case announce it. I know they won't do it, it would be $500 bucks probably, but I'd like to see a Remington R1303 adaptation.

Maybe a Bullet style trapper?

Maybe it's time for a super nice smallish Utility Fixed Blade with a top quality leather sheath ? Very useful knife and with 154CM steel, just excellent.

That's an interesting idea, Roland.

I would really like to see the #26 Lanny's Clip, or the #39 Moose, or the #44 Texas Jack.

I thought a link to the Bose patterns (folding) might be useful for the discussion. This opens a pdf file, so don't click on it if you don't want to open the file.

I would like to see that too. What makes you think it would be so expensive? I know it is a large pattern, but I would think a single blade lockback could come in sub $400.

It's time for another three blade... I hope. But it's all good. I like them all. :) I'm hoping for a sowbelly even though there's a regular production sowbelly.

somehow i'm reminded of the 2012 forum knife thread ...ooooeerrr spooky or what?

That is my hope another 3 blader.

If we are allowed to dream, I would love a 3 7/8 SBJ. Completely in high end materials, that would be delightful. Not going to happen, but a man can dream can't he.

Has it ever been said weather or not a knife like the SBJ, or SaddleHorn, or BackPocket would/could be considered as the colab knife?
If so the Sway Back Jack would be a no-brainer.
