Going through some of my almost forgotten knife stuff I came across this little fellow. I made long before I started making folding knives, about 30 years ago. I think it was an experiment with slipjoints. I carried it for a while, and then it was put away and forgotten. Thrilled to have dug it up again, now that I am more serious about collecting slipjoints.
I included a photo with a 15 frame for size comparison. Even though small, it served very well when I was using it.

That is a beautiful knife! Are there colors in it or are those reflections? Either way, it's a stunning piece!

That's not what I was expecting when you said you made it, but I should've known better because you made it.

Beautiful knife there, and hard to believe it's 30 years old.

Really a piece of art. Glad you found it and shared it with us. Has to be one of the prettiest knives I’ve seen in awhile!
Thanks, Neal

That's a great rediscovery! I wish I had one of those laying around in my stuff :D

That's a great re-discovery, looks like a beauty!

If that was an "experiment" 30 years ago, I'd like to see what you could do now with a few additional decades of knowledge and skill.

Thank you so much for the kind comments. I like little knives, so this one will be a keeper.

When I made this little guy I was making mostly large daggers. I then went into lockback folders, which I still make now. But because I really love slipjoints, I have made a few to keep, mostly for my wife.
