Each time I watch that show I want to go shopping for tools.

How is the True Temper Double Bit Michigan axe?

What about the Husqvarna Carpenter's Axe?
 
Thanks, but not all the tools are hatchets and axes that I plan to ask about. I appreciate you taking the time to post that link though ;)

One man crosscut saw and a draw knife being among the other two.
 
Planning on building a cabin? The sky (and your budget) is the limit as far as tools goes. Add a generator and a lot of power tools can be used as well. Limited to your ability to transport them or have them transported for you. Again, limited only by your budget.
 
No, but playing around and learning at my existing cabin, absolutely. The cabin wasn't the only thing he built. I'm interested in building some of the other things as a hobby with my free time up there.

There isn't a budget, but I don't think I'll need the best of everything. That Michigan axe isn't as good as a GB, but if it would be good enough for a hobby I'll buy one.

OK, well I welcome the mods moving it and apologize for not knowing saws and the other tools belong in there.
