Just thought we could move the spoilers to a new thread as some of us are watching the show at a different pace.
Well, Desmond isn't the first guy to get chewed up by the bush. It freaks people out. He wasted a bunch of energy that he didn't have to spare, and that high activity level drives up the agitation level. Your body doesn't know if the heart is racing from exercise or actual fear, and it adds to the feedback loop. Same feedback loop that took out Brant last year. I wonder if the military trained guys have trouble dealing with problems that they can't tackle head on? especially threats. I suspect Justin would handle it better, being used to hiding in a hole and hoping for the best. But the infantry style of thinking is to act.
Tough break on the red tide.
Some gear selection mistakes, but the key will be how they deal with those, solving the problems rather than beating themselves up. Larry seems to have trouble with working harder rather than smarter.
Next ep should be interesting.
