I was looking into getting one and I saw pictures and it looks really thin.. but REALLY thin, is the blade at the standard Vic thickness? (2mm i think) or thinner?
Also, the can opener is a feature I use quite often, is it working well on the combo tool?

Thanks in advance :)

The blade is the normal 84 size and thickness.

The combo tool works fine. Not GREAT, or very good or anything, but it does work OK. Remember, The whole idea of SAKs is improvisation. In most cases, an SAK tool works fine, maybe quite well, but the "real" tool is always better.

That said, I think that the combo tool works well considering that its a, well, combo tool.

I love my Alox Bantom, if only they made them in black.....

The Alox Bantam is a great little knife, but the combo tool does not work as well as the regular SAK can opener (though, as stated above, it does work). If that is really important to you, you should consider the Cadet. I have one of each and can't decide which I like better.

Another Bantam fan here...

Yes the knife is thin and super comfortable to pocket carry... The blade is more than big enough to do what I need day to day.. As far as the combo tool goes, I can't add anything more than what's been said above.. I use it more as a cap lifter and screw driver and rarely on cans..

Love the allox handles.
