Well, my wife called me today and said, "there was a big bubble package envelope in the mailbox for you from that Vet place." Of course being the responsible husband, father/provider that I am, I immediately stopped working and drove home, running redlights and stop signs along the way. After bailing out of the truck and nearly dislocating my shoulder for lack of remembering to remove my seatbelt all the way,(much to the shegrin of my neighbor who was out mowing the lawn) I finally made it inside. It was better than Christmas! I am so excited to have found a new hobby that I am enjoying so much. It wasn't more than three weeks ago that I didn't own a single SAK. Along with the Alox SAKs pictured here, I have also purchased 6 other SAKs from Tim(Felinevet) and 3 more from various places. I would again like to thank Tim(felinevet) for helping me aquire the knives pictured here as well as all of the others I have purchased from him, and for taking the time to answer all of my stupid newbie questions. Thanks Tim!..

Nice collection there Tolly. The aloxsaks are the greatest. Its about all the sak I have these days, a cadet 2 and my trusty Wenger SI.

You need a cadet Tolly.

I will be buying one of each color of the new soon to be released Cadets.

Wow, what beauties! Is the one on the bottom left Damascus? Congrats to you on your new(?) hobby, enjoy!

I wish it was Damascus. It is just the light making it look that way though. It is funny that you asked that though, because SwissBianco will soon be making a run of Damascus bladed SAKs.

Hmmm. I think its time I acquired one of these. Looks very nice.

Thanks for showing these pix.

Now for the hard part, convincing the knife.........errr.....wife, i mean. Lol.

Tell me about the new soon to be released Cadets.

See Felinevet over at sosak online. It does'nt pay to buy a sak from anyplace else. Felinevets prices beat everyone, and he has a greatselection of hard to get sak's. He often gets alox saks in a wide variety of colors.

Tim(Felinevet) will have all of the different colored Cadets when they come out. They will hopefully be out in a few weeks.

Very nice collection and great pic, what really calls my attention is that the first two boxes on the left looks like vintage models do you know the year of made of those ones?

I see that the other ones comes in the actual box that we all get the gray box , but the other ones is the first time that I see those.

nice collection, thanks to mention my damascus one. tomorrow, the first splash colored alox sak will be made, cross your fingers!

All three knives pictured on the left, while indeed brand new, are old stock knives that Felinevet aquired while traveling (Switzerland I belive). In other words they were knives that had just been setting around and had never sold until he snagged them. At least that is my understanding after chatting online with him about them. I may not have all of that exactly right, and if I do not hopefully Felinevet will come along and correct me.

No problem Roger. For those of you who haven't seen swissbianco's work, go over to his section on the "other" forum and check it out. He is a true craftsman and puts together some amazing knives.

thanks, from today, the age of single colored alox sak is finally gone, some of the splash i did has up to 4 colors.

one of the employees at the platers company did suggest to make that sak an spl model for remember another big swiss invention, the LSD, by albert hofmann:D
